Un nou eseu despre cunoastere!

                                            Learning-not just for teens

We live in a modern world based on knowledge. This is the reason why some people tend to learn things they think they should know and forget about their own “unanswered questions”. We forget that we learn more by looking for the answer and not finding it than we do from learning the answer itself.

The learning process starts when you are a child. Curiosity makes its job and starts guiding you in life. This is not a thing to put a joke on, it is a very important one and people like Albert Einstein know that curiosity has its own reason for existing”.

As a child, you may haveteachers to open the doors for you, but you must enter by yourself” (Chinese proverb). Edward Bulwer-Lytton defines the best teacher as the one who suggests rather than dogmatizes, and inspires his listener with the wish to teach himself”.

Learning is not only about books, it also refers to your education. Every day, even if you are just watching a movie or walking down the street, you educate yourself. Be yourself! Learn in your own way, learn in any way, just learn. Learn as if you would live forever, learn to be yourself. Do not stop at learning the lessons you are taught, teach your own lessons. Learn all it can be learnt. Put your own questions and do not ever be afraid to ask something because “he who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who doesn’t ask remains a fool forever”  (Chinese proverb).

The purpose of learning is growth and, unlike our bodies, our minds have no limits in growing. Once you learn a thing in one way, learn it again in a different way. If you do not do so, you may not learn it right.

I will pass over the conclusions. You should have the chance to take your own ones. What did you learn from my essay? Answer that after you read this Albert Einstein quote: Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.”

Multumim colegei noastre Ramona Pirvulescu, atat pentru eseu, cat si pentru pozele realizate special pentru noi cu tema educatiei!
